Job Description:

 

1)   Technician/Technical Support:

Job ID: R052604

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for providing telephone support for customers on operation or maintenance of Dell products.
  • Assist phone customers by diagnosing problems, and providing resolutions for technical and service issues.
  • Responsible for EWS, Total solutions, YTT and In warranty extension sales.
  • Performs work in accordance to standardized policies and procedures
  • Applies diagnostic techniques to identify problems, investigate causes and recommend solutions to correct failures.
  • Documents problems in the support solution database for diagnostics and solution implementation.
  • Ensure proper escalation procedures are followed.
  • Responsible for customer satisfaction through effective handling of customer problems
  • Work requires strong analytical ability to resolve complex technical issues in addition to effective phone communication skills.

Candidate requirement:

  • Minimum Graduates in any stream. (10+2+3)
  • Undergraduates with at least 12 months of international call center / 24 months of domestic call center or any other work experience – full time experience.
  • Should be willing to work in shifts in a 24 x7 work environment
  • Fluent communication in English and Hindi
  • Excellent telephone soft skills & thorough telephone functional skills
  • Ability to handle stressful situations.
  • Ability to deal professionally with irate customers
  • Good Knowledge of PC Hardware/Software for desktop & portable systems
  • Any relevant Certification/Technical Qualification

 

2)   Software Engineer 2 - IT:

Roles and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Designing, coding, testing, debugging and documenting
  • Previous experience working with .Net and Click Software
  • Design & Develop solutions based on requirements by adopting best standards and providing post deployment production support.
  • Collaborating with business analysts and POs to prepare technical specification documentation.
  • Examining stories, technical design documentations, Test automation and implementation plans for small to complex projects.
  • Participate in product/platform testing.
  • Developing estimates on related project work.
  • Staying current with new technology developments and development techniques.
  • Responsible for monitoring and reporting development project status and anticipating potential issues that could adversely impact scheduled.
  • Work directly with partner teams to understand & design requirements
  • Participate in initiatives that improve overall Stability & Product Quality
  • Able to perform their assigned duties with a certain degree of independence requiring minimal direction and supervision.
  • The candidate is expected to be a key member of the technical problem solving team, routinely sought after to address complex production issues.
  • Proactively contribute to increasing the team efficiency by sharing knowledge, providing feedback about best practices, writing tools / utilities.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience developing in .Net and Click Software
  • Previous exposure to Agile and working in the Product Model
  • Interest to systems architecture
  • Computer Science, System Analysis or similar technical degree
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Fluency in English
  • Ability to work independently and/or as part of a global team

Essential Requirements
• Moderate software/IT engineering/code development experience on A2A and B2B applications
• Ability to gain trust and respect of engineers, dependent teams and stakeholders to deliver results, all without direct reporting authority
• Capable of working in a dynamic environment with minimal direction while delivering in a timely fashion
• Ability to find quick consensus of new information and moderate knowledge of system being tested

Desirable Requirements
• 2 to 5 years of experience in software/coding/IT software

  • Experience in Click Software would be an added advantage such as - Field Service Edge, Mobile Studio and Service Edge Integration
